Below are some testimonials from residents and family members that have made Ridges at Peoria Senior Living their home. We invite you to come and visit our community, talk firsthand with current residents and take a tour!
Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I wanted to tell you about the place I have been living since February of this year. I am a senior, and last year had to make several hard decisions because of health reasons. I could no longer take care of my home or my yard as mobility issues have made things more difficult for me.
I could not be happier with the place I chose to live. I must say I was not asked or paid to write this. Just love it so, I wanted to share.
The Ridges at Peoria, in Arizona which consists of independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Three separate entities, which exist on one very large, beautiful campus. When I discovered The Ridges, I was very surprised at the size of the apartments. While this facility is not new by any means, they are going to great lengths to remodel as many apartments as they can. However the thing that impressed me most was the beautifully landscaped ground. While other places I looked at had a beautiful landscaped front of the building, no other gardens or places to enjoy outside were to be found. Each apartment here has an existing patio or balcony overlooking beautiful landscaped grounds of fully mature trees, flowering bushes and sweeping lawns. Residents can even add to the beauty with their own plants or flowers in pots on the patios or balconies. They also have beautiful water fountains scattered about. I sent pictures of my home and views to my cousin in England and he said it looked like I was living in a resort. I told him it was just like that.
Garden Ridge, which is the independent living facility even offers the opportunity to bring your loving pets with you. If a dog they provide a fence (for a nominal fee) which would surround your patio to give your furry family members a place to enjoy outside. Not to mention lovely paths and walkways to stroll with your pets when you wish.
The apartments are spacious and lovely. They have on bedroom, one bedroom and a den, two bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a spacious living room, galley kitchen, and bathroom with a walk-in closet, and a storage shed out on the patio or balcony. Each apartment has its own separate thermostat so you can be comfortable in your home.
The dining room is a gorgeous room surrounded by windows looking out at the beautiful gardens. We have a swimming pool residents can enjoy also, and an area outside the pool between buildings with nice comfortable seating for socializing with your friends, completely covered, protecting us from inclement weather. Our living room is absolutely unique and beautiful and is the residents gathering place for social events and entertainment.
Included in our rents are all utilities (except wi-fi and phone service), linen service, and housekeeping every other week. Laundry facilities are included on every floor (at no charge) if you choose to do your own laundry. Three meals a day in the dining room. Fun activities provided every day for residents to choose from. Transportation for your medical appointments and weekly trips for shopping at local stores. The Ridges has a full maintenance staff who will readily be available if anything is not working properly in your apartment. The Ridges also have a wellness staff, to assist with minor health issues when needed.
I know it sounds like a luxury resort which costs an exorbitant amount of money, but not so. It is one of the more reasonable places around, which offers so much more than others. The residents here are friendly and welcoming, as are the employees. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home for me. I do love it here. I encourage you to come and take a look.

My father became a resident at Senita Ridge in February. He has been at two other memory care facilities before this. All of the employees at Senita Ridge are kind and helpful. Your front reception staff are great. Rachel is fantastic with all the activities. I would like to point out two employees in particular. Cynthia and Ban. When they are with any resident, they are loving and caring. They are cordial and informative when speaking with me about my father and how he is doing. I know it is tough finding good employees but those two, along with all of the others, do a great job.
I write this note, because I would be quick to let you know if you had any issues. I try to be just as quick to let you know when you and your staff are doing well. Thanks to your staff for the love and care they give my father.

Dawn, just a quick note to thank you for helping us transition Betty to Senita Ridge—there’s so much more than just “moving in” and I appreciate all of your patience and help!
I also know it takes a whole team, and while I haven’t learned everyone’s names yet, I hope that you will pass along my appreciation and thank you to everyone who has helped Betty get settled and who takes care of her daily needs.
Everyone of the staff has been extremely helpful and kind and I am so thankful to each of them—and know that they are each very special to work with all of these seniors!
A special note of thanks to Kailie, Patty and the front reception staff—wow, they are helpful, and welcoming, and have a huge job similar to airport flight controllers directing incoming guests, deliveries, medical staff, and residents and always with a smile! Thank you for all you do!

Mr. Bakhit I just wanted to take some time to thank you and your staff members for the tremendous support and kindness you have shown our family and in particular my father, who recently moved from Garden Ridge into Senita Ridge for hospice care.
Although all the employees we’ve encountered with the recent transition have been wonderful, one employee has really stood out and her name is Ban. She has shown my father kindness, compassion and brought some joy to his trying days as his life draws near the end. Since receiving the news that my father would be placed in hospice, several relatives have flown into Arizona to visit with my father. Each family member who has met Ban, and I believe she’s met all of us, has the same thought…thank god Ban has coming into our lives in this difficult time. Ban has stopped by to check on my father, made sure he is taken care of, treated him with respect and dignity and has always produced a smile or laugh from my father. The way Ban approaches her interactions with our family we feel like she is now part of our family. Her tenderness, joy, concern and manner of communicating with my father just reveals what a tremendous person Ban is and how lucky all the familes at the Ridges are for having Ban care for their relatives.
I would like to express my gratitude to you and the staff at the Ridges. My father really enjoyed his apartment in Garden Ridge and I personally was extremely happy when we were able to move my father to your community after my mother passed in October of 2022. I feel that your community has put great effort into caring for the needs of our loved ones. The physical appearance of the community is great and the employees show a caring quality.
Again, words can’t sufficiently express my gratitude to Ban and the many Ridges employees. Thank you for hiring employees that understand that compassion and dignity are important and that all people deserve to be treated with dignity and compassion.

Hello there, I wanted to reach out on behalf of my family to express our gratitude for the care my grandfather received while in hospice care at your facility. He was in a rehab center that was not up to our standard of care and he had a very hard time there. Although the move was quick and spur of the moment, your staff was unbelievable in helping us get his things in the building and to help him get comfortable. My mother and sister visited from Wisconsin for the first week to help him get settled into hospice and we had great experiences with the staff. My grandfather was having a hard time eating and the kitchen staff went out of their way to find choices that accommodated his preferences.
The caregivers, med techs and nurses were wonderful. I also wanted to give a huge shout out to one of the caregivers, Ban. She was not always in the wing that my grandfather was in, but she made a point to stop by and cheer him up and did such a great job with him. He was very anxious being in a new place and she made the transition very easy for him and he looked forward to her stopping by when she was able.
Please share our gratitude with the staff and please note that during such a difficult time of loss, we find comfort in knowing my grandfather was well taken care of in his final days.
Thanks again for everything.

Dear Dawn, I wanted to Thank You and your staff at Senita Ridge for the compassionate care they provided for my father. While my daughters and I were there they really went above and beyond to make him comfortable and try to get him to smile or laugh. I can’t tell you how much that meant to us.
I just wanted to let you know how much it was appreciated. I also wanted to let you know a gift basket of chocolates should be arriving at Senita on Wednesday, while it’s just a small token I hope the staff will enjoy it. Thank you so much

Good morning, this weekend we are celebrating Betty Venuti’s 97th birthday and next weekend 3 months at Senita Ridge! A perfect time to say thank you again to everyone!
I’ll begin with the front reception area... wow, how fortunate Senita Ridge is to have these wonderful ambassadors—always with a smile and friendly welcome and care about the residents! The staff are always helpful when we are taking Betty out—making sure she’s ready to go ( not sure how you do that, but it’s really appreciated!)
We’ve been more than impressed with the caregivers and cleaning staff—every time we come to visit, Betty’s studio is in wonderful order, Betty is dressed and cared for and we know that some of her “senior days” can be more challenging than others. The grounds and facility always look beautiful. The staff are like little angels who slip in and out doing their jobs and we haven’t had the opportunity to see and thank them as often as they deserve!
Dawn is patient, responsive and terrific with concerns and coordinate things for Betty’s needs. It’s so fun to hear and see Rachel with the residents...what a gift she is and Betty loves the music and art projects! We appreciate the great communication and rest easy knowing that if Betty needs anything or has an issue, someone will be in touch with Tony right away.
I don’t know all the staff’s names and I certainly don’t want to leave anyone out as I know full well there are many, many who are part of Senita Ridge’s well-run organization-please express my gratitude.
Thank you -- life with an aging parent is very much a learning experience and we appreciate all you do!
